Jonas Strand Gravli, a Norwegian actor born on November 10th in 1991, gained international recognition for his diverse performances in both film and television after graduating from The National Academy of Dramatic Arts in Norway in 2015.

His breakthrough role came as lead Viljar Hanssen in the 2018 feature film "22 July" directed by acclaimed British filmmaker Paul Greengrass.

In 2020, Jonas secured one of the lead roles in Netflix's global hit TV series "Ragnarok" which aired for three successful seasons until 2023. Additionally, he made notable appearances in the 2023 Netflix film "Christmas As Usual" and starred in Viaplay’s "Wisting" (2019-2022), as well as the series "Fenris" (2022) and NRK's "Jordbrukerne" as Tariq, among others.

Looking forward, Jonas will be seen as Rob in the upcoming international Dutch TV series "This is Gonna be Great". His upcoming projects also include starring roles in the British short film "Elsa" by emerging director Rebekka King, and the arthouse feature film "The Fishing Place" by the American director and cinematographer Rob Tregenza.

Jonas Strand Gravli has showcased his talent on stage as well, with many notable performances. Among others, he portrayed characters like Lukas in "Helikopter", Orlando in Shakespeare's "As You Like It (som dere vil)" and Lyngstrand in Ibsen's "The Lady from the Sea(Fruen fra havet)" at The National Theater in Norway. At Oslo New Theater, he took on the role of Joe Harper in "Vreder".

Jonas plays Axel Jensen in the upcoming tv series "So Long Marianne" scheduled to premiere on NRK in 2024
