Søren Torpegaard is an accomplished Danish musical theatre artist, known for his powerful voice and dynamic stage presence. A graduate of the Danish National School of Performing Arts (2019), Søren quickly earned recognition, winning the prestigious Reumert Talent Prize in 2021.
He has starred in a range of celebrated productions, including a lead in De Vilde Kaniner, Efterlysningen, and West Side Story, where he received rave reviews for his portrayal of Tony. Other credits include Saturday Night Fever, Jersey Boys, and Matador – The Musical. In 2027, he will take on the iconic role of Romeo in Romeo & Juliet.
In addition to his stage work, Søren is a recording artist, releasing his debut EP “Øjesten.” He has also performed as a soloist at DR’s Grand Christmas Show and at Her Majesty The Queen’s 50th Jubilee Concert.
