Miri-Ann Beuschel had her debut role in the critically acclaimed feature film Parents. She was nominated best supporting actress at the prestigious Danish Film Critics Association - Bodil Awards - for her performance. After her debut, she played in the Danish feature Word of God, starring alongside Søren Malling (Borgen, a Royal Affair) and Swedish singer Lisa Nilsson. Since she has been in different web series (”Yes No Maybe” season two, ”Idioten”, ”Helved” with Lars Therkildsen and Charter McCluskey and the ”Doggystyle” by Emma Haudal).
Miri-Ann was born in rural Denmark, her mother a Danish pianist and her father a Russian/Jewish painter and freelance photographer. As a child, Miri-Ann saw her aunt Bodil Jørgensen perform on stage and fell in love with acting. When Miri-Ann turned 18, she moved to Copenhagen and studied privately, took drama classes and formed improvisation groups. She also studied Philosophy at the University of Copenhagen.
Miri-Ann is also a song writer, recording artist and she’s very passionate about the environment, animal welfare and mental health.
