Julie Christiansen was born in 1987 in Denmark. She has been involved in a number of television series and films since her early youth. In 2017, Julie played female lead in the Avaz brothers' debut film “While We Live”, a role for which she received a Bodil Award (Danish Film Critics Association) as Best Supporting Actress and she was nominated for a Robert Awards (Danish Film Academy) as Best Female Lead.
In television, Julie has starred in series such as “Lykke” (2011-2012), “Dicte” (2012), “Borgen” (2011), “Heartless” (2014-2015, “30” (2018), “Sygeplejeskolen” (2018) and “31” (2019). On the big screen, Julie can be seen in the feature films "Moonfire" (2018) and "Wonderful Copenhagen" where she plays lead. Furthermore, she has starred in Bille August’s acclaimed feature film and TV series “Lykke-Per” (2018)
