Danish actor Lasse Steen is a versatile performer across film, television and theatre, known for bringing a grounded and distinctive presence to a wide range of roles.
Lasse Steen graduated from the Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2020. Since then, he has appeared in a number of acclaimed productions, including Nikolaj Arcel’s feature film The Promised Land, in which he starred as Ulrich, and What Lies Between Us, which had its World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2026.
On stage, Lasse Steen has become a familiar presence at theatres across Denmark, with credits including major productions such as Bunbury and The Little Mermaid at The Royal Danish Theatre. His theatre work was also recognised with a Reumert Talent Award for his performance in Sandmanden.
In early 2027, Lasse Steen will return to the stage in Dangerous Liaisons at Nørrebro Teater in Copenhagen, where he will appear alongside Emmy nominee Connie Nielsen.
