Kristian Halken has been a familiar face in Danish film, television and theatre for decades. He became a household name with his breakout film role as Anja’s father in Kærlighed ved første hik (1999). He has twice been honored with a Reumert Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actor — first in 2001 for Mine to Søstre at Husets Teater, and again in 2003 for Spindoctor at Nørrebro Teater. On screen, he is well known for his role in the beloved TV series Badehotellet (2013–2023), and has recently appeared in the films Camino (2023), Rom (2024), and Sønnike (2025). Now, Kristian Halken returns to the world of Rejseholdet, following his original appearance in the acclaimed TV series (2000–2004).
